Ground Turkey with Onions and Diced Tomatoes

I took a recipe off Sun Basket and made it my own into something easy that I can make in large batches. This is so easy that it’s not really even a recipe but just rather just throw everything together in a pan and enjoy!

Gluten free/Soy Free/Dairy Free

Ingredients:

  • A whole pack of ground turkey (93% lean)

  • One large tomato

  • One large onion

  • Red and Orange peppers

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cut up the tomatoes, onions and peppers into little slices or cubes.

  2. Heat pan with olive oil. Start cooking the onions and ground turkey together. Season with some salt and pepper.

  3. Add in red and orange peppers.

  4. Add the diced tomato last.

  5. Cook about 10 minutes on the stove. I cook until the veggies are a bit soft.

  6. If you want more carbs, I ate it with sweet potatoes or rice.
